Gracious Vases

Aren't these sweet little vases adorable?  They are from a new set called Gracious Vases from Papertrey Ink.  I love how mixey matchey they are.  The set has tons of sentiments, and I know I'll find lots of uses for it!  The papers are from Basic Grey's Two Scoops.  Love this paper, the prints have all of my favorite colors.  Hope you're have a great day and thanks for taking a peek...!

June Papertrey Blog Hop!

Hi everybody!  Welcome to my entry to the PTI June Blog Hop!.  We were challenged to use a photo for our inspiration, and this is my card.  I sponged different inks to create my background, blending a little at each color change.  Then I stamped the tulips in the area that was lighter, with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them with Copics.  There is a little clear glitter touches on the flowers, to look like dew.  The basket was stamped on white (using my new Vintage Basket die ~ I love it) and then I used Copics to give it a little more definition.  I added some Berry Sorbet ribbon, and stamped the sentiment in Versafine Black.  I put it on a Kraft card base, to mimic the wooden cubbies.  Thanks for stopping by...!

Cameo MOJO

What an excellent sketch for this weeks MOJO Monday!  I went a little wild with these flowers, getting the idea from Susiestampalot's Blog.  The flowers were stamped from a friend's set, (can't remember the name!) colored with Copics and then cut out.  There is a touch of sparkle in the flower centers, made with a Spica glitter pen.  The card base was stamped stamped in Versamark with the Canvas BG, it just needed a little something to compete with my little garden...  TFL!

Happy Saturday!  Hope you're having a good stamping day!  I've been able to play a little, between cleaning my house.  Stamping is the reward I give myself for cleaning, cause it helps me get it done!  I've been playing challenges today!  This has three of them:  Paptertrey Ink's Make it Monday: this was a new technique to add tissue paper with glue for a different look.  My piece is the Houndstooth strip.  I had wonderful tissue paper from a Talbot's package with the design in it.  Cool!  Next up,  Viva la Verve week 2 sketch, provided by Andrea Ewen.  It's a wonderful layout, I loved it!  Last but not least, these fabulous colors from this week,s Color Throwdown of Baja Breeze, So Saffron, and Pear Pizazz.  Loved combining them all for this card.  Thanks for looking today!!

PTI and Piercing

I finally got to do a little stamping this afternoon. I was itchy to get inky! I've had this new set since Monday, and I was eager to try it out. Loved the paper piercing challenge on SCS today, I love to do it, but always forget how easy it is, and how much it adds to a card.  The stamps are from PTI, and the colors are Lemon Tart, Ocean Ties, Real Red and Daffodil Delight.  I used the Labels 4 nestie to make a frame, which was stamped with an old SU background stamp called Stipple Plaid.  Hope you've had a great day ~ thanks for taking a look!

MOJO Pink Birthday

A fabulous sketch this week for MOJO Monday!  I love how I was able to use some smaller pieces of favorite papers!  I added some stitching (with the sewing machine!).  I don't do that often, because it means I have to make a trip to the basement where my sewing machine is set up...  I used some Kaisercraft pearls on the open scalloped edge die (MFT).  The frame and border stamp are from Thankful Accents and the sentiment from Amazing Wishes (both Verve).   This will be for my sweet daughter-in-law, whose birthday is coming up!

SFYTT Bella Girls!

I had a friend over on Saturday to stamp and play with Copic markers.  They really work well on Stamping Bella images!  This is one of my favorites, they just look like they're ready for the Mall...!  I used Jen DelMuro's sketch for June, with some Basic Grey papers (Olivia pack).

Stanley to the Rescue!

I was encouraged to play along with this weeks Tea Party over on SCS.  The sweet story is about sycronized swimming, of which I am a former participant,(many, many moons ago...!)  SO, this is my take on the event.  If you have a chance to hop over and read it, you'll understand why!!

The stamped image is from Whippersnapper and is colored with Copics.  I used today's sketch challenge as well.  Happy swimming everyone!
