This was made today for SCS Featured Stamper.  I have only used this stamp once, so I was happy to ink it up again.  I used Creative Memories oval cutters for the various size layers, and added a little fish charm on the ribbon for fun.  There is some sparkle on the water, made with a Spica Clear Gel Pen, but it's hard to capture in a photo.

Another RAWR....!

I'm having so much fun with this new stamp. I showed the first one to my DH, and he said, "You've got to make me two of them"... Apparently, he played a game with his daughters when they were little called "RAWR" (he made it up...) Anyway, the inside has the sentiment that says "RAWR means I love you". So he will be sending them off to his grown up daughters! How fun is that??

RAWR!

Did you know "RAWR" means I love you?  That's what the inside of this says.  I got this stamp from My Favorite Things.  With 2 grandsons, I know I'll get at least two cards from it!  MFT has wonderful images to color.  I used Copic markers on it, and some cute paper from Basic Grey were an easy choice to finish it up.

Masculine cards...  They seem to be some of the hardest to make.  Today's challenge on Splitcoaststampers, was perfect to make a more "guy" type card, Stamping in Black only.  The image is embossed with black, and the paper is from Stampin Up's Sahara Sand prints pack.

MOJO178 Anniversary Card

Love these colors together, Concord Crush and Sage Shadow!  Found the perfect ribbon in my stash to finish it up.

VLVFEB2011 Week Three

This was made for the Viva la Verve sketch challenge, week 3.  The sketch was designed by Teresa Kline, and has one of those...crooked panels.  I've used Stampin Up's Sage Shadow as a card base, and Cappella papers from Basic Grey.  Stamps are from Thankful Accents, by Verve.  (Love this frillly frame!)

MOJO177 Bluegreen Birthday Wish

Love these colors from the Basic Grey Kioshi pack! I used them to make this Birthday card, as I wanted to use one of the felted flowers that match. I used the MOJO sketch this week, adding some extra bling to balance them out. The flag was made with the Lil'Inker die and stamps. The package is paper pieced with the purple paper, and accented with a marker. Lots of sparkle was added with the Spica clear glitter pen.

A card to today's Clean & Simple challenge on Splitcoaststampers.  The challege was to use Daffodil Delight, Peach Parfait, and Pure Poppy.  I used Verve's set Great Friend for the flowers, and the sentiment is from Stampin Up.  The shape of the card was die cut using Spellbinders.

Another Fish...

Love this new stamp!!  This one has a paper pieced fish, as well as the girl's shirt.  I knew I wanted her to have yellow boots, so the colors I used helped pick out the designer paper.  This is from Basic Grey's Origins collection.

Smiles & Wrinkles!

I made this card today, using the sketch VLVFEB2011, designed by Amy Sheffer.  I just got these cute papers from Basic Grey, so they were on my craft table waiting to be used!  The butterfly was stamped with white craft ink and then embossed with white.  Then the wings were bleached out, colored with markers; and topped with some dazzling diamonds.  The word "SMILES" was highlighted with a Spica clear glitter pen.

Feeling Crappie?

I saw this cute little set from My Favorite Things, and knew I would use it a lot!  I have a dear friend going through some of that right now, so I'll be sending this to her.  The inside has a sentiment from Verve, that says "Things are Going to Get Better".   Hope it'll cheer her up!
The image is colored with Copics, and the papers are from Basic Grey Origins.  You can't see in the photo, but the fish has a little sparkle, where I used a Spica Clear glitter pen on it.

Hearts & Critters

I made this for one of my grandsons for Valentine's Day.  I tried to keep it from being too "girly" yet still look like a valentine!  The Penny Black image is colored with Copics.  Cardstock is from Papertrey Ink, and papers are from Basic Grey's Olivia collection.

Pocket Gatefold Valentine

This is my Valentine for my husband this year.  I used multiple stamps to create "Love" songs from the Beatles.  Inside, (Below) there is a pocket that will hold two tickets to see RAIN, at the Lexinton Opera House.  They are a group that does a Beatles retrospective!  Should be fun, hope he likes it!  Tutorial can be found on Sharon Johnson's Blog, "notimetostamp".

Vintage Hedgie Valentine

This valentine uses some Vintage Valentine papers, with a Penny Black image, and Verve Sentiment.  There's lots of sparkle, as the edges and dots were embossed with Stardust embossing powder.  The Hedgie is colored with Copic markers.

Penny Black Sketch Challenge

I love Penny Black stamps, especially their cute little critter stamps.  The stamp used here is from one of their Valentine sets, using a sketch challenge they have posted on their blog.

My first card to share...

I made this for my daughter's birthday in January.  I'm sharing this as a test run for my new blog!  We'll see how this goes, since I'm just learning!
