Papertrey Ink January Blog Hop!

This  month we've been challenged to choose one of our favorites from last year and case our own creation.  I knew right away what mine was.  It was when we used dark cardstock, embossed with white, and then colored with Copics.  This is my first creation:

I loved the shading I was able to get with the poppies, and wanted to try it again.  This time, I used the Daydreamer roses, and changed the colors to yellow.  At first I wasn't real happy with it, but after adding more layers of color, and changing my ribbon from Lemon Tart to the olive color of the grasses, I was much happier!  This is my inspired card:

(Finally able to fix my sideways photo!)  Thanks for dropping by!  Enjoy the rest of today's beautiful creations!

So strange about your picture orientation!

I loooooove those poppies, they are *stunning*... no wonder you wanted to do this again! I love how the yellow pops on your new card, and the grass looks so great as a border!
