For Joy

Hello there!  I've got a card to share today, that I made for my SIL, Joy.  Her birthday is in a couple of weeks, and I wanted to use the pretty bouquet of sunflowers from Sunflower Bouquet.  I spent some time coloring with copics after diecutting and stamping the image.  Had to use some of these papers from Mikes again....

I also used a Fabulous Frame diecut, and sentiments from Signature greetings.  Hope to stamp a little more this afternoon, but I'm having trouble pulling myself from The Ryder Cup.  Guess I enjoy a little golf too....!  Have a nice Sunday afternoon. :-)

MIM Friend til the End

This week, Betsy showed an awesome way to use acetate to stamp a mirrored sentiment.  I had started this card over the weekend, and was trying to decided how to finish it up, and this technique was perfect to use!

I found these super papers on sale at Michael's.  I guess I have a thing for 6x6 papers, as I can't stop buying them!  But don't you just love the grays and yellows together???  Yummy!  I used a piece of Harvest Gold felt under the sentiment, and added a little bitty dot bow to top it off.  I really like how this turned out.  It's probably those papers.... :)

September PIT Blog Hop

Hooray, it's time for another one of PTI's fabulous Blog Hops.  Each month we are given a challenge and then on the 25th of the month, we post them for all to see.  September's challenge was to use fabric and/or felt, to make some kind of packaging element.  I chose to make a tag for Christmas, even though I haven't purchased a single thing yet!

I used Pure Poppy and Harvest Gold for my poinsettia, and the leaves were cut from left over fabric from a Make it Monday challenge, cutting fabric with your dies.  They worked just great.  The burlap tag was a find a Hobby Lobby a while ago.  I then thread the Pure Poppy Swiss Dot ribbon right through the burlap, and tied it up with a piece of red bakers twine.  Now I just need to buy a gift to put it on....!  Enjoy the Hop!

I've got another card to share with you today.  I made this for the Featured Stamper yesterday on SCS.  I just love this little telephone, and I hadn't inked it up for a while...

The papers are new, from Lily Bee's Double Dutch pack.  The banner on the side was cut from PTI's Banner Builder die.  Thanks for stopping by, hope you had a great day today!

Laser Tag

I'm back!  After a couple of busy weeks with a trip to visit my family in Michigan squeezed into the middle, I finally got a little stamping in.  I had a request from a friend, to make birthday invitations for her 10 year old's party of Laser Tag and a sleep over.  I knew right away, that the fabulous GRUNGE ME set was perfect!

This was so fun to put together!  I think those green things look just like the lasers, and of course you have to have a red target!  I also used the neat invitation $5 set for the inside.  She loved them too.  Hope to do a little more stamping today.  Hope you are having a great Sunday!  Thanks!

Today I have another card using the Sunflower Bouquet stamp set from Papertrey Ink.  I started out with an Ocean Tides card base, as found this pretty piece of paper in my stash that matched perfectly.  I used softer bluegreen copics for my leaves and pot, and stamped the base with cocoa ink.

A little different look that shows how versatile this great set is!  Thanks for looking!

Halloween for Brooklyn

Last, but certainly not least, is my Halloween card for Brooklyn, who just turned 3.  I chose the Candy Apples for her card, and although you can't see it in the photo, the caramel is nice a sparkly!

The little banner edge (new from Verve!) was cut with Harvest Gold felt.  It gave this card a soft fuzzy touch too!  Thanks for looking!

Spooky Sweets

I've got another Halloween card using Friendship Jar Fall Fillers today (surprise, surprise..)!  I sat down and all these fun paper leftovers were laying there, and had to use them again. :)

I had a little fun with some embroidery floss on this...  I used a needle to place it through the card, and once it was all on and loosely attached, I pulled a few strands here and there to get a spidery web look.  Gotta say, it was fun!  Have a great day!   Luanne

Halloween for the boys!

Today I'm sharing two cards, for my grandsons Aidan and Gabe.  I've used the Friendship Jar Fall Fillers again, I'm really enjoying these for the kids!  First up is for Gabe, he is five years old.

I put this one on a Simply Chartreuse card base, and added the tag with some twine that was colored green with copics.  You can't tell in the photos, but the stars and swirls are all colored with spica glitter pens.

This one is for Aidan, who will be six in October. I used a Smokey Shadow card base this time, and went for the black and cream sides of the Authentic papers.

I wrapped some of the green copic colored twine again, and kept the image straight instead of tilted this time.  That's all for today!  One more grandchild to go...!

Halloween Wishes for Addison

I'm enjoying my day off at my stamping table. :-)  It's been a good day to get started on upcoming events, including Halloween.  I usually make cards for my grandchildren, but like to keep them from being too spooky, as they are younger.  This first one is for Addison.  I used some fun Authentic papers, and September's SFYTT to put it together.

This is for PTI's challenge as well, "Mr. Bones Halloween Spook Out" Hop!.  I used the Friendship Jar Fall fillers with a couple of Tiny Tags.  Everything is placed on a Smokey Shadow card base, it's just perfect for Halloween creations.  Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy your day!
