I have a co-worker that shares my love of coffee, so when she asked me to make a card with cups of "blue-ware" for a friend of hers, I made this. I used some fun blue and white papers, and added a little lace border to give it a girly touch. The cups are from Verve and the sentiment from Papertrey Ink.

This month is all about wreaths! I love them and one of the first sets I ever got was a Wreath for All Seasons. But, I needed a Baby card, so I pulled out Birds & Blooms. After embossing the leaves and some white flowers, I fussy cut the nest and bird. Now the dies are at the top of my wish list! I also used Boutique Borders Baby and Tag It's . My final step was to add some dots of cream Viva Pearls and some white MS pearls. Enjoy the rest of the projects!

Well, we had a wonderful and exhausting time this weekend! My daughter is now a married lady to a great guy. We laughed and cried and had a blast. We got home and I totally crashed. But once I woke up, I was in the mood to create a little before the new week starts. I had some new things to play with too! :-)
I used the Simple Circles border die to create some snow for the new sled. Instead of changing colors, I changed textures using different whites. The top layer is from the tissue paper my stamp set came in! I added my sentiment with ink and versamark, and then heat embossed with Stardust embossing powder. I added some layers of the new snowflake dies that were cut with Soft Stone bitty dot papers. I just love this new sled and can't wait to make my Christmas cards with it!
I have a couple of snaps to show you from the wedding. I didn't take any during the ceremony, so I'll share those later when my family & friends send them my way. I just wanted to enjoy the moment! The first shot was from a Surprise Bridal Party get together on Saturday morning. We went to the Starbucks where Stacie and Marcus met. She loved it! This is my oldest granddaughter, Addison. She was one of the Flower Girls.
This is her Matron of Honor, Jessica, one of three "Sister-Cousins" that stood up with her. Stacie wore my wedding gown from 1975. She had the bodice changed a little, but the back stayed as it was.
She was radiant! She also is wearing a set of my Mother's pearls.
The flowers were gorgeous too, and we were able to bring a big bouquet home with us!
I'm so thankful too, for the beautiful Fall day that the Lord gave us! It could not have been nicer!
Thanks for stopping by today, and letting me share some happy memories!

Well, this is the weekend! On Saturday, my daughter Stacie, will get married! We leave tomorrow morning and so I'm finishing up a few last minute details. One was to make a bow with the new PTI bow die for a little gift to give her. I'm hosting a Surprise Bridal party gathering for her at the Starbucks where she worked (with Marcus) so I will give it to her then. I also made a Tag for the package, using Enjoy the Ride. It was my first PTI set. It's embossed with Starbust EP, which really looks cool!
It'll be over before you know it, and then she'll be Mrs. McMahan to her elementary kiddos!
Good morning! I have a Belated Birthday card to share, this one has already been sent to one of my sister in laws... I hate that it was late, but the pretty font sentiment may help?? Anyway I used the wonderful Mums the Word set for my bouquet with some fall papers. I embossed the cream background with the Aida Cloth impression plate. It really added great texture to the card.
Thanks for stopping by today!

I love little dogs, but I also love this Penny Black Halloween stamp! I mean talk about cute??
This was made for Sundays Featured Stamper on Splitcoaststampers. Shannons card featured a cute Penny Black Halloween cat too, found here. The fun sentiment is from a Papertrey Ink set designed by Dawn McVey.

Today I'm sharing three wedding cards. One is for a friend of ours in England, one is for my daughter (next Saturday!) and one for my stash.....!
Wish you could see the sparkle in the printed paper. It really adds to the elegance!
I have another Make it Monday card too. The plaid paper is the backside of the polka dot. Love this sweet little ghost!
Enjoy your PTI shopping tonight! Can you believe how awesome the products are this month??

One more coffee card to share.... This one will be going to my brother for his birthday. There might just be a Starbucks card tucked inside for him! He loves a good cup of Joe too! The papers are some old ones from Basic Grey called 'Archaic". They have a little retro feel to them that just worked for these cute little cups. Hope he likes it!

I had a guy card in mind when I put this together. I think the blue, gray and gold combination help to do that. This new set is super fun, and as an avid coffee drinker, I know I'll use it a ton! The cups are colored with Copic markers and the buttons are Harvest Gold. The papers are some older ones called "Hattie".

I have a birthday card today using the wonderful set called Mums the Word. I just love how these flowers stamp! For this card I've used Summer Sunrise card stock, and used the Rock & Roll technique to stamp them. I've added some leftover died to match glitter for a little strip across the back, and the Boutique Borders Birthday set for my sentiment.
