HB2U Gabe!

My grandson's birthday is in May, and I knew I wanted to use "Game On" for his card.  He loves playing, and so it was the one for sure.  I did a little searching on Pinterest, and found some great cards out there!  I used a couple of them to make mine.

Thanks to the creative people out there for your ideas and layouts!

Have a great day!

Make it Monday Pop of Color

I couldn't resist using this cute little phone for this weeks challenge. I forget how cute it is!  Great challenge for a clean and simple card.

Papertrey Ink April Blog Hop!

This is the gorgeous photo for inspiration on today's PTI Blog Hop. I'm partial to these colors, as they are the ones my son and daughter in law used for their wedding, navy and pink!  And this is my creation...

I attached the flowers to the bottom, and left them loose at the top.  It looks pretty cool!  The doily is cut from vellum to mimic the plates, and if you look closely, you can see that the base of the card is clear embossed with the dots from Bacground Basics Art Deco.

I edited the top photo by adding one more flower for balance, but here you can see how the flowers are loose on the top. Thanks for stopping by!

Enjoy the rest of the Hop!

Mother's Day Quilts

This weekend I made two Mother's Day cards, using Quilted - Spring.  Such a lovely set!  I used to make quilts, but these were a lot easier!

Love the spray of flowers included in this set. It adds the perfect touch!

Have a great week!

Garden Grace Sympathy

Today I have another card using Garden Grace.  I made my background using the smooshing technique, and feel like I'm getting a little better with it.  The colors are Aqua Mist, Ocean Tides, Lavender Moon and Autumn Rose.

Happy Birthday Marjorie!

One of my sweetest friends had a birthday this week, and I made this for her.  I saw this layout on Pinterest, and loved how the flowers found the curve of the diecut. I added a few rhinestones for sparkle, and the bottom layer is Striped Vellum over Sweet Blush.

Mojo Monday!

It's been a long time since I've played along with Mojo Monday! But I loved the sketched this week, and knew it would work perfectly with some fabric Washi tape I purchased a while back (and hadn't used yet!). So this card has was created in my mind all week, and I finally got a chance to put it together!

I got out Poppy Birthday, which hadn't seen ink for a while. I forgot how cute they are.  And you can't tell from the photo, but it is all layered on a piece of Polkadot Vellum.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Make it Monday Ombré Vases

I just purchased the Mega Gracious Vases before they went into the vault. I'm so glad I did!  They've been on my wish list forever, and kept getting bumped for new things.  It's an awesome set for all the great floral images we have.  I've used it them for this week's Make it Monday Ombré stamping, and they worked great.

I used Harvest Gold, Summer Sunrise and Melon Berry inks on the pottery, and Simply Chartruese for the greenery.  A bit of rustic twine to finish it off and it's ready for mailing.

Double Diecuts

This technique was so hard for me!  I think I tried at least 6 times!  I don't like to waste my good Cardstock that way, so this was my last and final effort...

Do not look to closely. I actually used a background stamp over it, to try and hide the boo-boos, lol!
I guess that's why I love our designers so much, they make it look effortless!

Happy Easter to all.  I hope your day was blessed!
