Make it Monday Trifold Cards

I have two posts today. For the PTI Blog Hop, you can go to the main page and scroll down...

I had seen a scrapbook layout using these colors, and though it would be a good opportunity to try out this week's MIM challenge, trifold cards.

I used polkadot basics III for the bottom, and the top half was made with Delightful Dahlia and Delightful Dahlia additions. I made my closure with two simply chartreuse buttons and some twine and added some black sequins for the center of the flowers.

Kinda like how it went together!  Thanks for looking!

January 2015 PTI Blog Hop

It's all about Hearts this month! With Valentine's Day just around the corner, and I was happy to pull out pink, red and frilly stuff!  I also borrowed my friend Amanda's Coverplate/Hearts for a few to send my granddaughters.

And, the Framed Out #11 was put to use as well..

Last, but not least, I finally splurged on the Limitless Heart dies, and can't wait to use them more!

It was great to get these ready to send in the next few weeks!  Enjoy hopping to see all the other fun ideas for Heart card giving.

Tea Time Case

I made this card for a sweet, former coworker, that has been under the weather lately. I cased cards by Erin Lincoln and Maile Belles.  They always inspire me!

Hope it cheers her up!

Belated Birthday Wishes

I will have a new step son-in-law soon. My stepdaughter Hilary is getting married soon and I found out today is her future husband's birthday!  How could I miss that?!?  So I have worked up a card to send to him on Monday, and hopefully he will get it soon...

I made some foam letters with the happy die to use this weeks make it Monday technique.  I used l Limeaide ice paper for my sticker because I thought glitter was a little too much for Carlos!
And here is a picture of the happy moment!

She said "yes"...

Happy Birthday to my Dear Daughter!

Today is my sweet daughters birthday!  I wish I could celebrate with her in person, but she lives in Austin, TX so it would be a little bit of a trip from Lexington!  Hopefully she will receive this card today, along with a little birthday $$...

I used one of Dawn McVey's fabulous color combinations and the Friendly Flowers set that all my kids gave me for Christmas!  I know she'll like it, cause we both love green and aqua!  I'll never forget the day she was born - we were in the middle of a blizzard and just made it to the hospital! She's an absolute gem and I'm proud to be her Mom.

Thanks for coming by...

Make it Monday Colorful Card Corners

This weekend I had fun trying out Daniellle's corner creativity. Of course, I messed up my first attempt with a smudged sentiment, so I made a second one. Then I took the first one and doctored it up to have a second one!

And here is the one I fixed...

I think it's okay!  Loved this technique!

A la Carte

Playing today's Make it Monday was fun!  I really haven't stamped much in the last few weeks, so first I had to clean off the tornado that went through my craft table...  I choose Melissa's challenge from last week, because I really wanted to play, and just couldn't squeeze it in!

My colors are Sweet Blush, Melon Berry, Aqua Mist and Tropical Teal.  The stamps are Bold Bouquet and my new Cheerful Heart set that hadn't seen ink yet!  This is my all time favorite scripture too.

Hope to get more in the inky groove over the weekend.  Happy New Year!

2014 Favorites

Happy New Year to you!  Today I'm posting a few of my favorite projects from 2014.  I feel like I was able to challenge myself a little, with all the wonderful Make it Monday ideas from Papertrey Ink, and most of my favs were from those!

Some were simple and fast, and others more of a challenge, but I loved making them all.  Here's to another year of fun with card making!....
