I love the photo for this month's inspiration!
There are so many options in this picture, it was hard to decided where to go... Love the wallpaper, the angled lines of the hutch, and the polka dotted tablecloth. That's where I grabbed my ideas for my card.
The bouquet on the left is popped up. My "wallpaper" was made with Turning a New Leaf and a small flower from Lace Bouquet. The top half is just Polkadot Basics, one of my always used background stamps!

I used my Life is Beautiful butterfly die as my shape for this technique. My colors are Harvest Gold, Summer Sunrise, Melon Berry and Limeaide Ice. A few touches of Canyon Clay with the smallest cluster I could find (from Rustic Weath) added a perfect touch at the end. I cut the Top butterfly from Pindot Vellum. The sentiment is from Wet Paint, and the finishing touch was a Champagne Kaisercraft rhinestone.

After a fun vacation in Texas, I had a chance to get to my craft table this morning. I really wanted to try my hand at "smooshing" again. (My first effort was hopeless!). Well, I managed to get today's attempts into cards, but I still need a little work! I've got three Easter cards to share, and the first two use the Smooshing technique.
I love the final look of this one. It was a little washed out, so I added the Alleluia stamp randomly in like colors. This second one is a total case of Betsy's. It's the card that had me buying Bitty Bouquets, which I love!
Last is a card using one of the the Metallic Gold paper pack sheets. So easy to use!
That's it for today. Thanks for looking!

This week I am planning to visit my daughter in Texas! I can't wait to see her, and of course, I wanted to take her a little gift of cards. I love how I can reuse the plastic boxes our stamps come in. Perfect size for three or four. And...because they are clear, I did a little decorating inside and out.
I got my Enclosed-Flower items yesterday, and used the papers that match the cards inside to help complete two different tags. This was so much fun!! And here is a shot of the cards inside....
I used Nicole's idea to use Swoosh and the Butterfly dies for a quick card, and lined the envies with matching papers. The papers are from Kaisercraft.
Hope you are having a blessed day!
