I've got a card to share for this week's Make it Monday, before we head for our annual reunion with my Mother in Law and the rest of the family in Siesta Key, FL.  This was messy, but a fun challenge from Ashley.  I used Spring Rain card stock, and Aqua Mist re-inker, and how about that? It turned my waves green! You gotta love the unexpected!

The sentiment is from Phrases & Praises, put on Mat Stack 1 layers, and I topped it off with a little twine and a Spring Rain button.

Thanks for looking!

I went with a brightly colored birthday card...

Thanks for another week for great inspiration!

June 2016 Blog Hop

Hi there!  I've got my card made for the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop today.  We were asked to get our inspiration from this photo...

So many ways to go on this one!  I chose to go with the colors for my card. I used Aqua Mist for the background, and some Shimmer Mist (found this left over from SAF a few years back!) and paint splatters in Amethyst Allure.  Then I used Painted Petals to create flowers, using Lavender Moon and Autumn Rose, with Ocean Tides leaves.  The sentiment was stamped in Scarlet Jewel.  I finished it with some small white dot accents, using a white Pico Embellisher.

Thanks for taking a look, and enjoy the rest of today's fun creations!

We have another Make it Monday, this week it's from Betsy! I used the new stencils from last month's release, to make my little boat card. Inks used are Enchanted Evening, Tropical Teal and Blueberry Sky.  I tried using my brayer (after I hunted and found it!) but I liked the intensity of using the ink pad right onto the stencil.

Love that cute sentiment too! Thanks for looking!

Create with us....

Well, I don't know if PTI will have this challenge in June, but I was so inspired by Betsy's watercolored Botanical Block card today, I wanted to give it a try...

So I know this isn't wonderful like hers, but I had fun giving it a try!  If they do post the challenge, I'll post it too!

Hope your having a blessed Sunday!

Make It Monday #252: Shadowing With Copic Markers

I had some time off work this afternoon, and was able to do a MIM card. I've used my new Faith die cut, which I hadn't gotten to play with!! The shadowing was done in a very pale lavender.

I teamed it up with flowers from Ruby Rose, using colors for this week's Color Throwdown. Then I popped on some gold sequins to finish it.

Here is the CTD inspiration photo.

Makes me want some ice cream!

Happy Stamping!

Fun with Leftovers...

So I found this cutout on my table that was leftover from the May Blog Hop.  After last week's Make it Monday, I knew I needed to make it into a card.

Simple and sweet!

Have a great week all!

Make It Monday #252: Gradient Watercolor Die Cuts

What a fun challenge this week. I actually made a couple of cards, and hope to make a few more this afternoon.

I used the Simple Stars coverplate, thinking it could be for a baby card, or a for any occasion a little girl might have!

Can't waste that extra layer, right?  Thanks Dawn, for a great tutorial!
