SAF Redo...
So I immensely disliked my splatter card from SAF. It just came across to Christmasy, and so when I sat down to create today, changing that card was at the top of my list. I carefully took the round tag off, and added a new die cut that covered the original area. I also kept my colors a little more simple, only using Pure Poppy ink. I like it a lot better!

July 2016 Blog Hop Challenge
At the moment, I'm preparing for the 2016 Stamp-a-Faire. I know it will keep me busy this weekend, so I've already made my card for the July Blog Hop. The colors in this month's photo, just spoke to me, and I was totally inspired!

SAF 2016: FAREWELL
Oh! I can't believe it's over! Thank you, thank you, thank you Papertrey Ink! I think this could have been my favorite Stamp-a-Faire ever! I love how we focused on our art, and the wonderful Masters, and I'll include the design team in that list. I especially loved the clips about the artist and their techniques. I was mesmerized. Can't tell you how much you are loved and appreciated!
SAF 2016: COLOR BLOCKING WITH LEXI DALY
My last card, and I love this (new to me) set from Lexi. It worked perfectly for the Andy Warhol color blocking technique. I chose fun, happy colors for my card...
SAF 2016: MASTERING DRIPS & SPLATTERS WITH LIZZIE JONES
So dear Lizzie! This challenge was the hardest one for me! Of course, I got it in my head to use a red background, so it would mimic one of the paintings shared... The yarn with yellow paint, really didn't show up, but I still worked with it! I'm afraid my project looks a little Christmassy, but maybe someone has a birthday around then!
SAF 2015: POINTILLISM PLAY WITH HEATHER NICHOLS
This challenge was easier and faster than I thought it would be! Trying to find the right stamp, was a little bit harder, but opted to use Vintage Linens again. The sentiment is from the new set, It's the Thought, which I already love!
SAF 2016: MASTERPIECE INSPIRATIONS WITH THE TEAM
I have really always loved the art of Monet, so I chose to style my card off Dawn's water lilies inspiration. I found another piece of his to use as mine, he painted many irises too.

SAF 2016: FLORAL IMPRESSIONISM WITH MELISSA PHILLIPS
This was so much fun! I had to hunt for a set that had outlines, and Vintage Linens filled the bill. I also looked at some photos on Pinterest, to help choose the colors to use. The basics are Pale Peony and Aqua Mist. The colors I used for watercoloring, are Melon Berry, Berry Sorbet and Vintage Jadette.
SAF 2016: GILDED IN GOLD WITH DANIELLE FLANDERS
For this challenge, I decided to use a Coverplate Pretty Frame. I actually had one cut from Sweet Blush, that never seemed to work with anything. Voilà - now it's gold! I've used the Navy Pin Dot paper, and the flowers are from Mums the Word. I added some vellum leaves too.
SAF 2016: STARRY NIGHT WITH AMY SHEFFER
I'm a big fan of designer Amy Sheffer, and just watching her work her magic on the night sky was awesome! I made two panels, thinking the first was too dark, but it did dry lighter like she said it would, so now I have a second panel for future use! I forgot to get black ink, so I've left her tree skyline for another time, probably on that extra panel....!
SAF 2016: MASTER COLOR RECIPES
Oh my! Amazing inspiration to start us off today! I can't wait to make more from this awesome list of beauty. To start this morning off thought, I chose Renoir

SAF 2016: Share Your Masterpiece!
I actually have two, but I'll only pick one as my masterpiece. ;) This first one, was one I loved, because it was a customer request, and all he asked for was the sentiment, "Just Because". I loved how it turned out, he loved it, and so did his wife!
But, this was what I would consider my "Masterpiece" this year. It was for one of Melissa's Make it Monday's, to make one of her awesome scrappy bows!
It just turned out exactly how I wanted it to, Watercoloring, Embossing on Vellum, and my attempt to create a shabby chic scrappy bow!
Looking forward to a fun weekend! Thanks PTI, for helping us to create masterpieces all the time!

CREATE ALONG WITH US: JULY 2016
Today I have a card that was inspired by the wonderful Melissa Phillips! She is so creative, and I love how she adds special little touches to every project she makes. I chose this card,
I had experimented with her Friday Inspiration technique, and used that card base as a start, since she had used one in her cute flamingo card.
I used some of the Chicken Scratch paper in Aqua Mist, and used my waves and boat for the pop of color. The sentiment has stamped in Hibiscus Burst, for another punch of pink. My holes were made the old fashioned way, with a paper pierced.
Thanks Melissa for how you inspire me, and thanks for stopping by...

A week at the beach!
I just got back from a week at Siesta Key for a family reunion. It was fabulous! This is the view from ou condo on July 4th...
People were claiming their spots for the day! Needless to say, I came home thinking about using my new Simple Shells stamps!
First I created a card like Heather's. I loved the colors she chose, stamped on Classic Kraft!
Then I tried using various colors, for a traditional look.
And then I went for a monochromatic pallet, that was inspired by some coasters in our condo!
Fun set to play with! Can't wait to make some more!!
